Q:  I'm trying to post an insurance payment via Open Item Posting and the system incorrectly tells me that there are no visits on file for the given dates of service.

A: Here are several things that may help:

(1) Repeat the posting without specifying a service code. It is only necessary to specify the service code if there was more than one service on the given date.

(2) Reindexing your databases.

(3) Is there a visit on file but with a different therapist or location code? The visit must agree in all particulars with the payment information or else it will come up "not found."
